The truth is your elopement is a once in a lifetime occasion - The two of you are about to start the most challenging, rewarding, exciting, life-changing experience of your lives together - And choosing someone to capture that day through photography is a big decision. I would describe my photography style as very laid back and natural. The little in between moments make for the best photos, and I'm not capturing awkward prom poses and forced smiles. I want the real stuff - the stuff that'll make you laugh until your cheeks hurt and will make your heart beat a little faster. ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
I love when couples opt to have an engagement session. It gives us time to get to know each other - no pressure and no timeline to stick to.
If you're like me, having your photos taken can feel awkward and uncomfortable. That's ok - most people feel this way.
Engagement sessions are a fantastic way to overcome that anxiety and a great way for me to learn about both of your personalities and how to best capture them. You'll get a feel for what it's like to be told what to do with your hands and asked to spin in a circle, and I'll learn your little quirks and what all your best angles are. Whether you're more serious and artistic or laid back and playful, learning about your unique personality will help me tell your story on your elopement day the way it deserves to be told.
Engagement sessions start at $300 for a 1-1.5 hour session within 50 miles of the Asheville area.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME
One thing I love about intimate weddings & elopements is just how much you can tailor fit your day to fit you and what you want to do! Maybe you still want to do some of the more "traditional" wedding things like have a small wedding party, cut the cake, have first dances, and all that great stuff. Or maybe you just want to go on an epic adventure with your love and recite your vows and take some awesome photos to look back on. That being said there can be huge variability in what is captured. These are my key shots that I get at a "micro wedding" - these are definitely not the only shots I will get but these are the most common. I will ask you to create your own shot list if there are any other specific photos you just gotta have!

DO YOU TRAVEL?
I LOVE TO TRAVEL!! I do not charge travel fees for anywhere within 100 miles of the Asheville area or if I am already in the area. I have pricing guides for the East Coast, West Coast, and international destinations. Reach out to me and I would be happy to send over the guide!
CAN WE BOOK YOU FOR ONLY A FEW HOURS?
Absolutely! I do have a 2 hour minimum. Outside of that my hourly rate for 1 photographer is $500, and my rate for 2 photographers is $600.
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU DELIVER?
Typically with 1 photographer you can estimate 50-75 photos per hour, and with 2 photographer 100-150 photos per hour.
HOW MUCH DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?
Great question! I'd say 70% of the way my photos look comes down to the way I edit my photos. Each photo receives basic color correction, cropping, adjustment for lighting, etc, as well as a custom filter to give it the vibe you see in my portfolio.
DO I HAVE TO GET MY ALBUMS & PRINTS FROM YOUR STUDIO?
A lot of studies do the watermark thing or force you to print albums through them - I'm not a big fan of that route. I do offer albums and prints, but the way I see it, you've invested a lot for your photos, so you should have the freedom to do what you want with them for personal use.
